Thinees was founded in 2009 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada when the company founder realized a need for a skating sock that was completely unique to anything on the market. The goal was to create a near-barefoot experience while simultaneously keeping the foot dry. With that mantra at heart, an ultra thin skating sock was born and the Thinees movement began. Today, Thinees performance socks are worn by thousands of hockey players and figure skaters across North America.

You’ll see many skaters choose to go barefoot in their skates since they believe they have more feel and more control over their stride. The downside to this approach is you’re feet get wet and uncomfortable, which can hinder your performance. With Thinees, our goal is to give you the best of both worlds:

• the near-barefoot experience for enhanced feel and control in your skates; and
• and a dry, comfortable foot
